Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Block Runner uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use the information associated with them.
Necessary and Account Storage
We use browser storage needed to authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, protect the service, and keep requested features working. Disabling this storage can prevent sign-in and other core functions.
Preferences and Local Features
We use local storage to remember theme and interface preferences. When you are signed out, it may also hold saved items, follows, chat history, and other local product state. This information stays in that browser unless it expires or you clear it.
Subscription Checkout and Billing
Paying for Block Runner Pro — currently available only to residents of the United States — and managing an existing subscription take place on pages hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Those pages set their own cookies and storage on Stripe’s domain, under Stripe’s cookie and privacy policies rather than this notice. Block Runner does not set any advertising or tracking cookie for payments, and no card details pass through this site.
Analytics and Performance
Block Runner uses a random first-party visitor identifier and a session identifier to understand feature usage, diagnose problems, and improve the service. These identifiers do not contain your name or email and are not used for cross-site tracking.
We also use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Google Analytics collects usage, approximate location, browser, device, and session information and commonly sets _ga and _ga_<container-id> first-party cookies. Google lists a default expiration of two years, though browser limits and our configuration can shorten it.
Providers
Supabase supports account and database features, Vercel hosts and measures the service, Google provides Google Analytics, and Stripe processes subscription payments on its own hosted pages. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and our applicable service agreements. AI chat is handled server-side and is described separately in the Privacy Notice, including how signed-out AI usage is rate limited without cookies.
Your Controls
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. Doing so may sign you out or remove local preferences, signed-out saves, follows, and chat history.
Disable Block Runner’s first-party product analytics on this browser. This control stops future first-party product events and excludes the browser’s existing identifier from Block Runner’s own metrics. It does not disable Google Analytics. Google provides a separate Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
